The South Blues Recreation & Family Club is the official sports club of the Maldives Police Service's Southern Region, encompassing Huvadhoo Atoll, Fuvahmulah, and Addu City. Our task was to create a brand identity that represents these regions while aligning with the Maldives Police Service’s official colors and themes.

The challenge

Creating a cohesive brand identity that incorporates the geographical uniqueness of three distinct atolls while resonating with the Maldives Police Service’s blue color proved to be a complex challenge. The design needed to be meaningful, visually appealing, and reflective of the club’s mission and values.

We devised a branding strategy that combined the geographical shapes of Huvadhoo Atoll, Fuvahmulah, and Addu City into a single, unified mark. The blue color palette was chosen to symbolize the surrounding ocean and align with the official colors of the Maldives Police Service. This approach resulted in a strong, recognizable brand that embodies the unity and spirit of the regions it represents.
